Naomi Arnold Thompson is a Professional Speaker, Trainer and Facilitator. She has been leading a successful team of entrepreneurs in the cosmetics industry for 13 years. She was recognized in the Princess Court of Sales in 2013 and has been a Career Star Consultant for 50 Quarters. Naomi has earned recognition as Ambassador of the Year in 2009 and 2010 by the Jacksonville Onslow Chamber of Commerce. She was also named the 2011 Linda L. Richardson Minority Advocate Business of the Year. Ms. Thompson has trained students, professionals, chamber members and the public at large on the Art of Networking via building relationships. One of her greatest accomplishments is being invited to speak to the military spouses of Camp LeJeune by the US Chamber of Congress in 2012. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from East Carolina University and resides in Hubert, NC.

A: Charismatic. Intentional. Integrity.
Q: What is your personal philosophy?
Q: What is your greatest accomplishment?
A: My greatest accomplishment to date is being a lifelong learner! School is never out for the professional!
Q: How do you define success?
A: When you can say you are happy and mean it.
Q: Where does your passion come from?
A: My personal reinvention from social worker to business woman. I want to share everything I have learned with the next generation.
Q: What is your vision for your business 5 years from now?
A: Coaching and connecting women who are in business.
Q: Who inspires you?
A: My faith. This is what I was called to do.
Q: How long have you been doing this?
A: 5 years
Q: What aspect of your work do you find most satisfying?
A: Working with people and helping them to create their own momentum.
Q: What advice would you give to women who are entrepreneurs or thinking about becoming an entrepreneur?
A: Do your homework, network like crazy and step out on faith.
Q: What do you want women who attend your session to leave the conference knowing?
A: You are just ONE conversation away from anything you want!
After interviewing Naomi the “Networking and Relationship Expert” I walked away with 3 very important points:
Takeaway #1: If I want to slay, I have to hustle!
Takeaway #2: In some form or another I will be in school for the rest of my life! (WTW?)
Takeaway #3: I have to find someone to have that conversation with to get what I want!
